End of Summer

Being that it is past the middle of September I keep expecting fall temperatures to hit but so far we've had mild weather. We're still playing outside alot trying to hold onto summer!
As much as I love fall I'm not quite ready for sweaters and long pants!

Today is first game for the Hawks! It's going to be a great season!

Preschool

Today was Lynzi's first day of preschool! She was so excited, she didn't even bat an eye when it was for me to leave.

She has been talking about going to school for weeks now. When asked what she'd be doing there she said, "Well, we'll go on field trips, I'll meet new friends, maybe play with toys." I can't believe she's in preschool already!

Summertime!

We've had a busy summer so far. Enjoyed visits from both of my sisters!
One was planned and one a complete surprise when her and her boyfriend showed up on my dooorstep! Made for a great birthday weekend! Throw in a pirate themed party and we've been busy busy!

Lucy and Jake

Although we are still missing Hailey dog and will forever, we missed the presence of a wet nose in the house. We wanted to rescue a shelter dog vs getting a puppy for various reasons. When we saw these 2 we couldn't say No! What started as a visit ended with them both coming home with us. They are both so sweet and lovable and we are so glad to give them a forever home! Here they are and a few pictures of the non-furry kids also.
