New Glasses

Lynzi got glasses! She was super excited to pick them out. We couldn't decide which pair so we got her both, now she'll have a back-up!
She's so proud to be like mom!
We were able to visit my great aunt Audrey today and visit with cousins. The kids had so much fun. Of course I didn't bring my camera, that would have been too smart!

So very long since a post. Such much has been going on this summer.

I started a clinical trial in May that just ended the 1st of July. I haven't really talked much about my cancer because I don't like to! But I did start a Caringbridge to keep everyone informed. If you are interested here's the address

Lynzi graduated from prek! She loved, loved, loved going to school this year. She's so very excited to start K in the fall. I cannot believe I have a child old enough for Kindergarten! Wow!
The peeps have started speech class. Lynzi continues to do very well, I have noticed such a huge difference since having Ms. Maggie in preschool and doing the speech class the last two summers at the U.
Kellen's speech continues to improve also. He's starting to put together two word phrases and I can understand him much of the time. He seems to have the same delays Lynzi did but I think the early intervention will certainly be beneficial to him.

Derek had hernia surgery in early May and then had a work accident shortly after. It's been a rough couple months for us all but we seem to be working through it.
Lynzi lost her first tooth! Kellen hasn't broken any bones yet but sure seems to be trying! Whether it be climing on top of the counter or flying headfirst off the couch he seems to be a one-man wrecking crew!

I've been lagging in the blogging department but am hoping to get back on it!
We had a nice Easter. Colored eggs and had 2 nice famiy dinners.
On Saturday we went to the local egg hunt in town. Kellen still wasn't sure what to do but Lynzi took off when they blew the whistle.
